2025 Maulud: Bauchi State Speaker Celebrates With  Governor Bala Mohamed, Appeals On Adherence To Prophetic Guidance 

The Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y Suleiman extend the warmest felicitations to the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, the Emir of Bauchi, HRH, Alh. Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu and the good people of the State on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El Maulud.

It is a period in which Muslims across the globe commemorate the birth of noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) whose teachings serve as the guiding principles for a more fulfilling life.

“Maulud is a moment for the Muslim faithfuls to celebrate the birth of a pillar who embraces all, treats with compassion, lives a worthy life and guides many to the right path. It should be a rightful time to revisit our acts, be mindful of our utterances and relate the way Prophet Muhammad did. Parents need to inspire younger ones to the Prophet’s pivotal attitudes of kindness, selflessness, honesty and trust”. The Speaker advised.

The legislative head opined that Prophet Muhammad left no aspect unattended as he taught on family responsibilities, community lifestyles, lawful ventures and how to handle compelling issues; he tasked that such should be the blueprint to all. As morality is decaying, the Speaker calls on parents, leaders and preachers to unite in order to reinvigorate moral compass, discharge tasks and teach the gospel of unity, righteousness and services for the overall progress.

As families go out to celebrate, the Speaker urged all to ensure that homes are locked, valuables safeguarded and ventures protected. He then charged parents to keep close eyes on the children while calling on youth to refrain from unwholesome activities. On behalf of Principal officers, Honorable Members and staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, the Speaker wished for a hitch-free Maulud celebration and prayed for the adoption of Prophet Muhammad’s sacred teachings and lifestyles.
