Nigerian stock exchange witnessed decrease at the close of trade on its floor on Monday. Volume of stocks traded opened at 807.8 million and close at 376.6 million, showing a 431.1 million decrease in number of shares traded. The value of stocks declined to N3.802 million from N10.501 million traded on Friday. Total deals decreased to 6,050 from 8,113 traded on the previous day.

DANGOTE SUGAR led the 31 gainers, gaining 1.35 naira per share, corresponding to a 9.7% increase.
Other gainers include, NASCON, FLOURMILL, FIDSON AND GLAXOSMITH.
NASCON gained 85kobo being a share price increase from 13.10 naira to 13.95 corresponding to 6.48% increase and flourmill gained 70kobo closing at 28.85 naira from 28.15 per share traded on Friday being a 2.48% increase.
FIDSON share price rose to 4.40 From 4.18, a 22kobo gain per share corresponding to a 5.26% increase.

MOBIL led the 25 losers on the loser’s chart, its share price fall by 6.1 naira per share being a decrease from196.1 naira 190 , corresponding to 3.11% decrease. Other top losers include, ETI, JULIUS BERGER AND CILEASING.
ETI lost 50kobo per share. JULIUS BERGER and CILEASING share price dipped by 45kobo and 44kob per share respectively.
