Twenty-six people have been confirmed dead as a boat conveying over 30 passengers capsized at Ginga District of Shagari Local Government Area in Sokoto State.
According to an eyewitness, search and rescue efforts for the remaining passengers have continued. Authorities are yet to comment on the matter as of the time of this report.
