Dunamis Church cancels Sammie Okposo’s performance for Adultery
Ahead of the 2022 Nations Worship concert billed for Friday where gospel singer Sammie Okposo is expected to perform, Dunamis International Gospel Centre has cancelled Sammie Okposo’s name from the list of gospel performers to minister in the church.
The singer was expected to perform at the concert but there was a last-minute decision by the Dunamis church management to remove him on the grounds of ethics and morality.
This is coming after the 51-year old singer confessed and publicly apologised for cheating on his wife Ozioma with a US-based lady during his trip to the United States
Okposo who confessed that he got intimately involved with a lady in his recent trip to the USA last year, said he is working to make peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness.
He further said that he was suspending himself from all ministry work until full restoration, calling on his wife Ozioma to forgive him for his poor judgement and moral failure.
