COVID-19: Masari shuts three more markets in Katsina
Katsina Governor Aminu Bello Masari has shut down three additional markets of Dutsi, kayawa and Garkin Daura, all in Katsina State
A statement by the Secretary to Government of Katsina State Dr Mustapha Inuwa said the action followed growing concerns over the increasing confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.
He said the shutdown order is with immediate effect as part of the stringent measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
According to him, members of the general public are strongly advised to remain law abiding as law enforcement agents have been directed to ensure total compliance.
