Anambra Governor appoints Nollywood actress as Special Assistant
The Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano has appointed actress and movie producer, Mrs Chibuzo Patrick, as his Executive Assistant on Community Liason.
The appointment which took effect from March 1, 2020 was signed by the Chief Of Staff to the governor , Primus Odili.
This is coming after actor, Zubby Michael was appointed last year as governor Obiano’s Special Adviser on Media.
Chibuzor is the Founder of Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative and the group CEO of Meljenstin group of services.
She holds a masters degree in business administration, degrees in Theatre Arts, Mass Communication and Management, with certificates in public relations and other development courses.
She was also the Public Relations Officer of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and sat in the board of some corporate institutions before her appointment.
Her NGO, Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative champions some annual brand projects such as motivational award, Say No To Drug Addiction, Comedy infusion for down syndrome kids, free youth essay competitions, Stop Violence Against Children among others.
Mrs Patrick is the producer of the movie, “Avoidable blunders’’.
