The floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange, witnessed upsurge at the close of trade on Wednesday. The value of stock traded increased with over one point seven billion naira, with the number of deals increasing to 5,947.00 from 5,283.00. The volume of stocks however, decrease with over ten point three million.

NESTLE led the top gainers. It’s share price rose from 1175 naira to 1295.5, a 10 % increase.
TOTAL, DANGOTE CEMENT, CONOIL, FLOURMILL and ARDOVA are the other top gainers.
The share price of TOTAL rose from 112.2 naira to 118.9, a 5.9% increase and DANAGOTE CEMENT gained a 2.1% increase, with its share price rising from 152 naira to 155.3
CONOIL share price rose to 19.05 From 17.35, which correspond to a 9.7% increase, and FLOURMILL gained 6.4%, with its share price rising from 26 naira to 28.2
AUSTIN LAZ led the other top gainers, which included; UNION DAC, UHOMREIT, INITS PLC and ELLAHLAKES
