STOCK EXCHANGE REPORT FOR  30TH OCTOBER, 2020

After the Eid-El Malaud holiday, trading resumes on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange On Friday with a considerable increase in both volume and value of stock traded on the floor. The volume of stocks on Friday was 807,810,817.00, a 115.27% increase above the volume on Wednesday which stood at 375,249,909.00.

Also the value of stocks traded Friday was N10,501,022,806.2 which was an increase of N4,634,120,008.94  which was traded on Wednesday before the Malaud holiday.

NESTLE maintained its top gainers position at the close of trade being its position at the trade of trade on Wednesday. Its share price rose to 1421.7 from 1292.5, corresponding to a 10% increase.

MOBIL, TOTAL, DANGOTE CEMENT AND BUA CEMENT are the other top gainers.

The share price of MOBIL rose from 178.3 naira to 196.1, a 9.9% increase and TOTAL gained a 9.2% increase, with its share price rising from 118.9 naira to 129.9

DANGOTE CEMENT share price rose to 155.3 From 160, which correspond to a 3% increase, and BUA CEMENT gained 9.9% with its share price rising from 41.4 naira to 45.5

UNIC ASSURANCE PLC led the other top gainers, which included VERITAS KAPITAL ASSURRANCE, AIRTEL AFRICA, SUNU ASSURANCE NIG. PLC and ALEX {BLS}.
