The value of stocks traded fell by N3.064 billion on Friday as ASI closed in the negative.

Trading on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday witnessed a fall in the value of stocks traded, after an impressive rise on Thursday.
On Thursday, the value of stocks traded rose to seven point three four nine billion naira from five point four nine one traded on Wednesday.
However, on Friday the value fell from seven billion, three hundred and forty-eight million, one hundred and forty-one thousand, ninety-one point eight two to four billion, two hundred and eighty-five million, one hundred and twenty-three thousand, eight hundred and fifty-four point one five, a forty-one point six eight percent fall
The volume however rose from two hundred and eighty-nine million, three hundred and ninety-four thousand, one hundred and eighty thousand to two hundred and ninety-two million, eight hundred and sixty-one thousand, thirty-five, a one point two zero percent rise
The All Share Index also climbed from thirty-four thousand, nine hundred and sixty-eight point nine four to thirty-five thousand, one hundred and thirty-seven point nine nine, a zero point four eight percent rise.
TRIPPLE GEE & CO PLC topped the gainers’ chart among other 32 gainers with its share price rising to sixty six kobo from sixty kobo traded on Thursday.
ROYAL EXCHANGE PLC. however was the top loser among other 13 losers. Its share price dipped from twenty-four kobo to twenty-two kobo, a five kobo or an eight point three three percent loss.
