NSE: The market capitalization closed blue on Wednesday, as 40 gainers dominate the floor.

Equity capitalization maintained an upward move at the close of business on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
Since Monday, the market capitalization has been moving upwards, after five days consecutive fall.
On Wednesday, market capitalization rose to Eighteen Point Five-Six trillion naira from Eighteen Point Four -Two trillion on Tuesday. This was a one hundred and forty point zero four-billion-naira increase.
The All Share Index also closed blue rising from Thirty-Five Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-Five Point Two- Two, to Thirty-Five Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety-Three Point One Five, a zero point seven- nine percent rise.
The total number of stocks that exchanged hands rose from Two Hundred and Sixty-Four Point Two –Five million to Six Hundred and Fifty Point Five- Five million, a One Hundred and Forty-Six percent increase.
The value closed at Two Point Two Eight billion naira and the total number of deals closed at Four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty-Four.
On the activity chart, there were Forty gainers and Thirteen losers.
MANSARD PLC was on top of the gainers side while CORNEST led the laggards
ZENITH BANK stock was the most traded, having Ninety Point Three Four million shares in Three Hundred and Ninety-Four deals.
DANGOTE SUGAR also traded fourteen point two six million shares valued at Two Hundred and Fifty-Seven Point Six –Four million naira to stand second behind zenith bank
