Ibadan plank market engulfed by fire, Central market Kwara set ablaze, Property worth millions of Naira lost

Property worth millions of naira have been destroyed in a fire incident that razed a substantial part Bodija plank market in Ibadan.
The fire according to the Chief Fire officer Mr Moshood Adewuyi, took place on Monday and affected a wing of the popular plank market also known as Iso Pako
Speaking on the incident Adewuyi said it was too early to aggregate the amount of damage but praised his men for stopping the fire before it did more damage.

In Kwara State a number of shops in Oro town Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday went up in flames.
The Spokesman of the State fire service, Hassan Adekunle, said that the incident which occurred in the afternoon was caused by careless refuse burning by unknown persons but the fire service team which was alerted by one ASL Yusuf were able to save some shops.
Prince Falade Olumuyiwa asked the citizens of the State to be more conscious and careful in order to reduce the fire outbreaks in the State.
