A Delta State governorship aspirant in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Kenneth Okpara, has been reported dead.
A top PDP official who disclosed details of Opara’s death to newsmen on condition of anonymity said the politician died in the early hour of Friday.
Okpara who was a former Commissioner for Economic Planning and Finance in the state reportedly gave up the ghost after battling an undisclosed illness.
The deceased hailed from Eku kingdom in the Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State and before his death enjoyed appointment by the immediate past governor of the state.
