FCT Perm Sec Harps On Need For Continuous Reform, Repositioning Of Civil Service
The Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Mr Olusade Adesola says Civil Service remains one of the efficient mechanisms which Government uses for planning, explaining and executing its programmes and intentions to the people
Permanent Secretary stressed the need to continuously reform and reposition the Civil Service in order to live up to its mandate
He made this known at the ongoing 43rd National Council on Establishments (NCE) at the International Conference Center in Abuja where he called for continuous engagement with staff members to build a committed FCTA workforce
According to the Permanent Secretary, the Administration has cleared the 2021 promotion salary backlog of FCTA staff, as well as made staff promotion an annual exercise.
