2023 Presidency: I will Make Nigeria a United Nation – Okorocha

As the race for who becomes Nigeria’s president come 2023 becomes hot, political parties and politicians are strategizing on who gets power, amidst strong demands by the South East region calling for a president of Igbo extraction.

The Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District in the National Assembly under the All Progressives Congress, Rochas Okorocha has openly declared his intention to run for the presidency from the region.

According to the Senator, if elected, he will unite the nation and give every Nigerians a sense of belonging irrespective of their religion, tribe and region

Rochas was speaking when he played guest on Arise TV’s, The Morning Show on Tuesday, monitored by Signature TV correspondent.

Rochas Okorocha having contested for presidency in 2003, 2007 and come 2023 said the passion and vision he has for Nigeria is what is fueling him to contest again having lost in the previous elections.

On his plans when elected, the former Governor of Imo State, said the nation is faced with a lot of challenges ranging from economic, youth inclusiveness, security, poverty, social cohesion, adding that he is the best candidate to address those issues.

The lawmaker when asked about some other party interests, said he respects the like of the party’s national leader, Tinubu but assured that he has the capacity to take Nigeria to the next level.
