2023 Election: Group Advocate for Youth Inclusiveness in Politics
A socio-political organization, Nigerian Youth Choice (NYC) 2023, has advocated for Nigerian youths to actively participate in politics in the 2023 election so as to be fully involved in policy formulation and implementation.
At the North-Central zonal summit of the group on Saturday, the Keynote Speaker, Comrade, Emmanuel Ebek, said the youth need to get involved right from the Ward level, to the local governments and the state level, before aiming for position at the national level.
The Director-General of the Nigeria Youth Choice (NYC), Comrade Wilfried Isah, said the aim of the summit is to support appropriate candidates, whose politics is driven by integrity, transparency, accountability and competence.
According to him, as political parties are about to conduct their primary elections, the group is ready to support a credible candidate who will end the challenge of insecurity, in Nigeria.

In his remarks, an elder statesman, Comrade Saidu Bello, who was a former special adviser to the governor of Kano state, lamented that Nigerian youth are not ready to take over from the older generation because the youth lack the experience to lead the country.
At the summit were delegates from across the 36 states of the federation, politicians as well as government officials.
Nigerian youth choice 2023, seeks to educate and mobilize the youth to project their political interest both at home and in the Diaspora.
