Police Trust Fund Visits Enugu State
The police authorities have begun an assessment of the needs of the Police Command in the country, in a move aimed at assessing the strength, weaknesses and needs of the Command.
The Police Trust Fund which is u Der taking the assessment visits was in Enugu State on Thursday to assess the needs of the Enugu State Command in order to determine the level of financial appropriation needed to meet those needs.
The Team which was led by Dr Ben Akabueze, the Director-General of the Budget office of the federation, inspired the State Police Command Investigation Department, CID, the Police Operations Department, the Central Police Station and the Awkunanaw Police Divisional Headquarters.

The team also visited the government house Enugu, where they were received by the deputy governor, Lolo Cecilia Ezeilo.
A number of Polic3 facilities were vandalized in the EndSars protests across Nigeria and some more have been attacked by unknown gunmen putting the Command in dire need of improvement in both infrastructure and operational facilities.
