Breaking: Three Police Officers allegedly Killed By Unknown Gunmen In Enugu
About three officers allegedly lost their lives as unknown gunmen blocked and shot at officers of the Nigeria Police, Enugu Command.
The incident happened on the 7th of September 2023 at about 10:30 pm along New Heaven road, before New Heaven junction in Enugu.
An eye witness who refused to speak with SignatureTV on Camera said that the unknown gunmen who drove a Lexus car, blocked the Officers of Nigeria Police, immediately alighted from the car and started shooting at the officers who also responded.
He also said that the incident caused the residents to fear, as everybody started running.
He said that about three officers were seen lying lifeless on the road.
All efforts to reach the Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe proved abortive as he declined the call, but later sent an sms text that he was in a meeting.
