The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential and his vice cast their ballot at their various polling centers in Asaba and Adamawa state, describing the exercise as peaceful.
According to Atiku Abubakar, he did not take up to 20 minutes for him to exercise his franchise.
The presidential candidate cast his ballot alongside his wife Titi Abubakar.
Atiku said he had issue with his fingerprint but the machine captured his face.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the introduction of the BVAS machine, and is optimistic that the exercise will be credible, free and fair.
Similarly, the vice presidential candidate of the people democratic party (PDP), Ifeanyi Okowa exercised his franchise at his polling at the Eghoma Primary School Owa Alero Polling Unit 17, in Asaba the Delta State Capital.
He exercised his franchise in the Agbor area of the state as the elections were underway on Saturday.
Okowa described the election as peaceful and is certain that PDP will win.
Okowa thanked the electoral empire for the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS (BVAS) for credible elections.
He urged the security agencies to make the exercise smooth.
