Gombe Governor, Yahaya emerges chairman, Northern Governors Forum

Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has emerged as the new chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum (NSGF).

He succeeded the outgoing governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong, as chairman of NSGF.

Simon Lalong held the position for over three years and has just completed his term of office.

However, Yahaya, who was elected governor in 2019, won his re-election bid to govern Gombe State for a second term in the 2023 general election
