April 16th looks to be a day of truths in the Nigerian Professional Football League as one of the numerous oriental derbies is slated to take place.
The flying antelopes of Enugu look to cross blades with their neighbors, the warriors from Abia in what is poised to be the best of both halves; Enugu rangers sit comfortably on top of the table though they share same points with another neighbor, Lobi stars of Benue.
Abia warriors who will be visiting the cathedral this weekend are placed in 11thposition on the table. The match-up between Rangers International of Enugu and Abia warriors is expected to be a nail biting affair.
Rangers CEO Amobi and Head coach Ilechukwu have turned the cathedral into a fortress for the reigning table toppers. It is not without saying that the antelopes would be wary of their opponents as the last time these teams met, the warriors came out on top. The flying antelopes would do well to stay flying as they keep momentum whilst hoping other teams drop points.
In other NPFL fixtures Doma united will host Remo stars, Rivers united will play host to the boys from J-town (Plateau United) and Kwara united will take a trip to the north-west as they cross blades with Gombe united.
