BAGO LAUDS TINUBU OVER REOPENING OF WARRI REFINERY

Gov. Umaru Bago of Niger, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his relentless efforts that has resulted in the re-opening of the Warri refinery.

This was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press
Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, in Minna on Monday.

Bago described the development as a giant step towards restoring the
hope of Nigerians through local production and refining of crude.
The governor said reviving the Warri refinery after several years of being inactive indicates that Tinubu was willing to change the narrative in the petroleum downstream sector.

The governor also acknowledged the efforts of the Management of NNPC Ltd, led by Mele Kyari, in making presidential mandate a reality.
He expressed optimism that the Kaduna Refinery and the Port Harcourt
refinery would soon be fully operational.

Bago further said the successful re- opening of these refineries was
making a significant positive impact and inspiring confidence among
citizens.
