EFCC Arrests 35 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Benin City
Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday May 20, 2025 arrested 35 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations within Benin City.
The suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet- related fraud.
Items recovered from them include nine exotic cars, smartphones and laptops
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
