Wolverhampton Wanderers have secured the £24 million signing of Tolu Arokodare from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk, the club announced on September 1, 2025.

The 6ft 6in forward, who claimed the Belgian Pro League Golden Boot last season, put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the option of an additional year.

The 24-year-old moves to the Molineux on the back of an impressive outing for Genk last season.

The Nigeria international finished as top scorer in the Belgian top-flight with 21 goals, also named the best African player in Belgium for the 2024/25 campaign.

Arokodare finished the season with 23 goals, and seven assists across all competitions.

He moved to Valmiera from Nigeria in 2019, scoring 22 goals in 34 games.

Arokodare was loaned out to FC Koln in the Bundesliga before joining French side Amiens, spending two years on loan and scoring 21 times.

He has played five times for Genk this season, scoring once.

Arokodare’s arrival comes as Wolves aim to climb from the bottom of the Premier League table after losing their opening three games of the 2025/26 season.

He is expected to link up with his new teammates after the international break.
