LaLiga Lookman reflects on ‘disappointing’ Atletico Madrid debut
Ademola Lookman has reflected on Atletico Madrid’s home loss to Real Betis.
The Nigeria international’s LaLiga home debut for Atletico Madrid ended on a disappointing note with the Rojiblancos going down 1-0 to the visitors at the Metropolitano Stadium on Sunday night.
It was Diego Simeone’s side first home defeat in the league this season.
Brazil international, Anthony scored the winning goal for Real Betis in the 28th minute.
Lookman had a goal ruled out for offside in the game.
The winger took to the social media to react to the defeat.
“Not the result we wanted but we stay positive. Very special moment making my debut in the Metropolitano. Aupa Atleti,” he wrote on X.
