Dr. Jonathan Onoja, a renowned Security and Public Affairs Analyst, has expressed his full and unequivocal support for the leadership of AVM Abdulraheem, Chairman of the Military Pension Board, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to rally behind him to ensure the success of the board’s crucial mandate.

In a recent interview with Symfony TV, Onoja clarified that his previous comments suggesting a leadership vacuum at the board were based on misinformation and should be considered retracted. “I was misinformed about the alleged leadership vacuum and my previous comments were based on that misunderstanding,” he stated.

Onoja emphasized his commitment to supporting the board’s efforts to improve the welfare of retirees and servicemen, highlighting the positive developments he witnessed during his recent visit to the Military Pension Board’s headquarters in Dutse Alhaji, Abuja. “I saw firsthand the projects being executed, including the construction of new staff quarters and well-implemented initiatives aimed at addressing future challenges related to payment processing for our veterans,” he noted.

According to Onoja, Chairman AVM Abdulrareem shared plans to digitalize payments to retirees, eliminating the need for veterans to visit offices for clearance. “The Chairman’s vision is a testament to his dedication to the welfare of our veterans, and I believe he is a blessing to the Military Pension Board,” Onoja said.

Onoja urged Nigerians to join him in supporting AVM Abdulraheem’s leadership, dismissing negative narratives propagated by his predecessor, AVM Abubakar Idris Adamu (Rtd). “I implore everyone to support Chairman Abdulraheem as he works tirelessly to improve the lives of our retirees and servicemen,” he concluded.
