Exclusive: Obi, Kwankwaso resign from ADC, Head to NDC
After an all night meeting with the Obidients and the Kwankwasiya movements, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso have resigned from the African Democratic Congress,ADC.
Two factors forced their resignation.
The rotation of the presidential ticket between the north and the south,which the party has refused to guarantee and the insistence of Atiku Abubakar to contest the 2027 ticket of the party.
There are unconfirmed reports that David Mark,Rauf Aregbesola and the legal adviser of ADC are threatening to leave the party, a situation that may signal the end of the road for ADC in the 2027 election.
