Abia State Governor Alex Otti Inspects Ongoing School Building Projects

The Abia Governor, Alex Otti, has inspected the ongoing construction of new school buildings at Aro Ngwa Community in Osisioma Local Government Area of the state.

Governor Otti, who was returning from a State function, pulled over at one of the schools to assess the level of work being done.

The governor expressed satisfaction at the quality and level of work in the two new school buildings and encouraged the contractors to double their efforts to deliver the projects before the agreed delivery dates.

The governor also went to the part of the school where the students are currently using as classrooms where he interacted with the students and teachers who were visibly excited to receive him.

The governor during an interaction with the students and teachers inquired whether they were being made to pay any fees against his directive and assured them of an improved learning environment and posting of more teachers to the schools.

The State Government is presently renovating and retrofitting public schools and building new structures across the State, under the school redevelopment policy of the state government.
