The atmosphere at the Enugu’s residence of Chief Vinmartin Obiora Ilo could best be described as celebrative and fun filled, as people from the twelve communities of Achi who are living in the Enugu state Capital converge in the house of one of their illustrious sons for the annual end of the year party.

Achi is one of the biggest clans in Enugu state and Orji River Local government area with twelve autonomous communities.

Speaking on the importance of the end of the year party, organized and sponsored by Chief Vinmartin Obiora Ilo, the Chairman, Achi Improvement Union, Law Ibenyenwa said it has continued to create a platform for reunion and bonding among their people.

Other people who attended the party like Ononwu Celestine Nwabueze and Doctor Chukwu Caroline prayed for Chief Vinmartin Ilo and his family and asked other wealthy people in Achi to emulate Chief Vinmartin Ilo.
They also spoke on the philanthropic life style of their host.
Meanwhile, Chief Vinmartin Obiora Ilo who was represented by Doctor Cajetan Ilo expressed fulfillment, pointing out that the end of the year par ty has continued to promote peaceful coexistence across the length and breadth of Achi.

Achi Isii Na Ulo- Isii Na Agu as the people describe themselves, is one popular mantra and greetings of the entire people of Achi in Orji- River LGA; a subtle suggestion that they have twelve communities or villages which include; Elugwu la Nkpokoro, Amankpunatọ, Isikwe, Agbadala, Egwu, Ehuhe, Adụ, Umumba(ogu), The, Elugwu-Akwu, Ahani, and Amaretti.
