Achi Traditional Rulers meet Gov. Ugwuanyi, discuss recent developments

A delegation of Achi Traditional Rulers Friday met with Enugu State Governor, Rt Honourable Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

The meeting which was held behind closed doors may have reviewed recent developments in the Twelve Autonomous Communities of Achi.

Though no communique was issued at the end of the meeting, sources told signaturetv.org that the delegation submitted their recent statement outlining their position on the “Illegal, illegitimate and unconstitutional” purported installation of an “Ezeala 3 of Achi” on a non existing traditional stool. Signaturtv.org learnt that five of the Seven Traditional Rulers who signed the statement under the aegis of Concerned Achi Traditional Rulers, were in the delegation.
