Former Manchester City striker, Sergio Aguero has revealed he is close to making a return to football as a club owner.

Aguero, however, refused to reveal the identity of the club.

The 36-year-old said this during a recent chat with Argentine streamer, Coscu, real name Martin Perez Disalvo.

When asked if he wanted to return to football as a manager, the former Barcelona star said: “The truth is that I’m thinking of getting involved in a football club as an owner.

“I’m not going to say which club it is, but I think we are on the right path.

“I like to be able to manage, to help the club to progress, to build a good team, a good staff.”

Aguero retired from professional football in 2021 after he was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat days after he was taken to hospital.
