AIRLINES CANCEL FLIGHTS AS SCARCITY OF AVIATION FUEL PERSISTS 

As motorists lament the biting fuel scarcity in the country, airlines are also experiencing similar difficulty as they are now cancelling already booked flights.

In a statement by the management of United Nigeria airline to its customers on Wednesday, the company said it was having difficulty securing the supply of aviation fuel which has become scarce to sustain scheduled flight operations.

The statement said the aviation fuel scarcity was an industry-wide challenge affecting all airlines and that it was collaborating with other operators to resume smooth operations.
