Akwa Okuko’s Shrine At Oba Being Destroyed After Court Judgment
The Anambra State-based native doctor, Mr Chidozie Nwangwu, popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, has had his shrine destroyed by the Anambra State Government following the court judgment delivered earlier today in Awka on his case.
The destruction of Akwa Okuko’s shrine at Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area is being supervised by Mr Ben Emeakayi, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, and is being carried out by Agunechemba security personnel.
The vast shrine, containing native pots, pictures of persons, moulded images, clothes, and other objects, is being dismantled piece by piece and will be set ablaze.
