Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Basil Ejidike, has said that the party will be receiving over 200,000 members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Alliance (APGA) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2021 governorship election in the state.

Ejidike, who spoke Thursday in Awka, said that the synergy brought to APC in the state by the likes of Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, Chief George Mogahalu, Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo, and Hon. Tony Nwoye, among others, has repositioned the party to take over the leadership in the state come 2021.

His words: “With the unity the party is currently enjoying with the state leadership, many people are likely to join the party ahead of 2021 governorship election in the state.

“Also, as a result of the contributions of our leaders to the development of the Anambra State the party is expected to receive about 200,000 supporters from APGA and PDP before the end of January, 2020.”

News Express gathered that the Member representing Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Chief Dozie Nwankwo, is among those billed to join the bandwagon of APC.
