Davido Treats Few Friends On A Luxurious Sallah Holiday

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, Davido has taken few friends of his on a luxurious Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) holiday treat.

In a short video posted by the singer on Instagram, Davido and a few numbers of friends were pictured having ‘A Good Time‘ while expecting his highly anticipated ‘A Better Time‘ album.

He was also pictured with Nigerian self-acclaimed Celebrity Barman, Cubana Chief Priest, Obi Cubana.

The celebrity bar man Cubana’s very own Chief Priest posted the video on his verified Instagram page today, July 31.

He wrote:

‘I Have No Friend’ Declares Actress Funmi Awelewa

Nollywood actress, Funmi Awelewa has lambasted her colleagues tagging her to participate in the ongoing Black and White picture challenge which entails women supporting other women.

Actress Fumi insisted, she has no friend in the industry after facing the whirlwind 2019 had thrown at her alone. In the long post shared on her instagram page, Funmi revealed, she no longer lives in White and Black but in colours .

She wrote;

”To everyone that tagged me, i no dey follow una do ”black & white” challenge o. Don’t call me your friend, i don’t have one. The last time i checked, some of you are just my colleagues. Many of you write me off when i lost everything i worked for last year. The year 2019 was colorless and the challenge reminds me of things i left behind. I only live in colors now. My kid sis @iambablow is my only friend. Emabinu, i understand the motive of the challenge but ko necessary ke tag me mehn. Una don help me repost my work before? Una don call me for job before? Una don buy my product before? When i needed help, many of you ran away from me when i lost my car, house and many things last year. Anyways, i no longer live in black and white . I only live in colors now! Cheers to a life full of color and glow”

Tiwa Savage in a post she made shared that she realized how her son is innocent, loving, honest, and forgiving is and compared that to adults.

She said that as one gets older the world begins to corrupt the innocence and fill us with jealousy, hate, envy, racism, tribalism, and sexism.

Adding that it also puts limitations on us and forces different beliefs and fears despite the fact that we were born great.

She concluded by praying for people to learn how to be children again.

Beyonce’s highly anticipated visual album, Black Is King, arrived in early hours of Friday morning (July 31), premiering on Disney+ about a year after the 2019 release of the Lion King remake, which Beyonce voiced Nala in.

• Did you know the youngest Pope in history was Pope Benedict IX who was 11 years old at the time of election.

He is also the only person to have been the Pope more than once.

Benedict was the nephew of his immediate predecessor, John XIX. In October 1032, his father obtained his election through bribery. However, his reputed dissolute activities provoked a revolt on the part of the Romans. His first pontificate was1032 – 1044

Benedict IX’s forces returned in April 1045 and expelled his rival, allowing Benedict to resume papacy. Doubting his own ability to maintain his position, and wishing to marry his cousin, Benedict decided to abdicate in May. He consulted his godfather, the pious priest John Gratian, about the possibility of resigning. He offered to give up the papacy into the hands of his godfather if he would reimburse him for his election expenses. John Gratian paid him the money and was recognized as pope in his stead, as Gregory VI.

 

Benedict IX soon regretted his resignation and returned to Rome, taking the city and remaining on the throne until July 1046, although Gregory VI continued to be recognized as the true pope.
