Be A Listening President – ISBON Tells Tinubu
As Nigeria prepares the swearing- of Bola Tinubu as president and the inauguration of a new administration on May 29th, 2023, an Islamic group, the Islamic Brotherhood, IS ON, has advised the new president to anchor his administration on the principle of democracy: Government of the people, by the people and for the people.
DR. Mustapha Soro, National Vice Chairman Mission Board of ISBON made the appeal at a Special Prayer session in honor of Maryam Yusuf Aladi, an APC member-elect in the Kwara state House of Assembly.
Dr. Soro said one of the items on Tinubu’s agenda should be to carry Nigerians along in his government and put a mechanism to reduce poverty.
In her opening remarks, the national Amirah Hajia Aminat Bello said Maryam Yusuf has an unimpeachable character and attitude toward people. She commended Maryam Yusuf for her unwavering support for ISBON.
Hajia, Maryam Yusuf Aladi, APC member-elect Kwara state House of Assembly and National Naiba Amira of ISBON, in her words said her victory in the election was made possible because of the prayers and relentless support given to her by ISBON.
The special prayer was led by Sheikh Musa Oniyangi and gift items were presented to the new member-elect Maryam Yusuf Aladi.
The program was organized by the Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria ISBON Women’s Wing at the National headquarters, in Abuja.
