Breaking: Governor Okowa’s father is dead.
The Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa’s father, Chief Arthur Okorie is dead.
Okorie, who died at the age of 88 years was confirmed dead in the early hours of Thursday, 28 January.
The deceased until his death was the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero in Ike North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
He was said to have been battling with an illness.
The cause of his demise is yet to be known as at the time of filing in this report
