Breaking: Kidnappers kill one, abduct another in Maitama, Abuja
One person was killed Wednesday night at about 8.45pm when Kidnappers were in the process of abducting a targeted victim.
According to sources who alerted newsmen early Thursday morning, the incident happened in front of Galleria Mall at No 44 Gana Street Maitama.
The sources said a report of the incident was shared by one Odunayo Babatunde (PPSL) stating details of what’s transpired as below:
“At about 8.46 pm today, our operatives at No. 44, witnessed in front of Galleria Mall, three men suspected to be kidnappers, struggling to force a man into a black Prado SUV, parked in front of No. 44 Gana street.
“One of the boys that loiter around Maitama Mall, tried to intervene in the matter but got shot in the head by one of the suspects and died immediately.
“The suspects escaped with their victim while the body of the deceased is still on the street at the time of this report.
“We advise that clients should maintain situational awareness of their environment at all times and probably minimise their movements if possible because of the incessant attacks around Abuja metropolis.”
