Breaking: Mailafia still interrogated hours after appearing before DSS
The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Dr Obadiah Mailafia, is still in the Department of State Security, DSS, custody 3 hours after answering an invitation by the secret police agency in Jos, Plateau State.
DSS had invited him following an interview which he granted a local radio station in Abuja.
In the interview, Dr Mailafia had claimed that some repentant Boko haram fighters had confided on his Non Governmental Organization, NGO, that a Northern State Governor was in the leadership of the Boko haram terrorists.
Earlier in the week, the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, had banned the operation of aid agencies and non governmental organizations in the state.
