Nathan Tella has claimed Bayer Leverkusen’s Goal of the Month for January, for his outstanding strike in Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund.
It’s the first time the Nigeria international will be winning the award since his arrival at Bayer Leverkusen.
The winger beat Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Writz and Patrick Schick to the award.
Tella won the award for his blistering strike in Die Werkself’s 3-2 victory after he unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box after he was set up by Robert Andrich.
