Burnaboy Shuts Down Lionesses’ Euro Victory Parade With Surprise Performance

Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy lit up the Lionesses’ Euro victory parade outside Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, delivering a surprise live performance that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

England Women’s manager Sarina Wiegman, who has openly listed Burna Boy as one of her favourite artistes, couldn’t hide her excitement as he joined her, the squad and 100,000 fans who came out to celebrate with them buzzing and bouncing  to mark their historic win.

The ‘African Giant’, joined the Lionesses who defeated Spain 3-1 on penalties after drawing 1-1 in extra time to retain football’s European Championship, on stage to perform his hit song ‘For My Hand’ featuring English singer, Ed Sheeran.

Burna Boy also made history as the first-ever African artiste to perform in a Champions League final in 2023.

Burna Boy and Brazilian pop star Anitta were the headliners at the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show.
