The Chief Executive Officer of Signature Communications Limited, VinMartin Ilo has predicted that cheating in West African Examinations Council, WAEC and National Examination Council NECO Examinations in Nigeria will not stop unless those caught doing so are prosecuted and punished.

Mr. Ilo, who spoke on a radio programmme on Kiss FM in Abuja on Wednesday regretted that establishment of schools in Nigeria is no longer for the passion of arming young Nigerians with quality education but essentially to make money.

He also identified the employment of unqualified teachers in schools run by those seeking a means of livelihood as reducing education in Nigeria as mere enterprise where money Changes hands to obtain certificates which products cannot defend.

He argued that the situation has become a vicious circle that now breeds young Nigerians who do not believe in educational discipline and hard work but take to cheating to obtain certificate as normal and acceptable.
