COVID-19 confirmed cases now 55,456 in Nigeria, deaths 1,067

Nigeria now has 55,456 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 296 new cases recorded on Tuesday night.

According to a tweet from the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 43,334 patients have now been discharged, with 1,067 patients losing their lives to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The tweet revealed that Plateau  State had the highest number of infections on Tuesday night with 183 cases, with Lagos State following with 33 cases.
