DIRI SENDS LIST OF NOMINEES TO STATE ASSEMBLY FOR CONFIRMATION AS COMMISSIONERS
The Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri has fowarded the names of 14 nominees to the Bayelsa State House of Assembly for confirmation as commissioners in the state.
In a letter he personally signed and addressed to the Speaker of the house, Governor Diri said the request is pursuant to the the provisions of Section 192 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigerias ammended.
The nominees include Dambo Biriyai; Maxwell Ebibai; Moses Teibowei; Daniel Igali; Mrs Koku Obiyai, Gentle Emelah; Ayibakipreye Brodericks and George Flint.
Other nominees include Komuko Kharim, Perepuighi Biewari, Jones Ebieri, Peter Afagha, Mrs Bidei Elizabeth and Michael Magbisa.
