DON’T BOARD ROADSIDE VEHICLES, SERVE AS POSITIVE AGENTS – DG URGES NYSC MEMBERS
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, has advised serving corps members against boarding vehicles by the roadside and refrain from night travels.
Ahmed who was addressing corps members at Anambra State Orientation Camp, Mbaukwu, and Ebonyi State Orientation Camp in Afikpo said there were inherent dangers in such travels.
He urged serving corps members to study their host communities, seek support from the residents and initiate laudable projects that would improve the standards of living of their hosts.
The DG called on the corps members to make long-lasting friends and relationships during the service year, encouraging them to use the service year to plan for a better future.
