The Supreme Court was thrown into both riotous laughter and dilemma when a lawyer, Malcolm Omirhobo appeared in court in the full regalia of Olokun, the god of sea worshippers on Thursday.
Malcolm said the Supreme Court ruling on Friday last week that hijab for Muslim female students in Nigerian Schools cannot be banned because it is a fundamental religious right meant also that members of other faith were at liberty to wear their religiously prescribed attire.
The Supreme Court, interpreting section 38 of the 1999 constitution as amended had on Friday ruled that the constitution guarantees every Nigerian citizen the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

with the position of the supreme court, Nigerian courts will soon become a rainbow of religious attire with Ogun, Songo, Amadioha, Christain and Muslim lawyers donning the attire of their faith before his lordships.
