EARTH TREMOR IN MPAPE PANIC STRICKEN RESIDENTS SEEK GOVERNMENTS ACTION – WATCH VIDEO

Days after residents of some Abuja suburbs experienced earth tremors in their locations those affected have called on the federal capital territory administration to explain the phenomena and end their panic.

For days now, Residents in Mpape, a suburb in Bwari Area Council of FCT, were thrown into panic, following earth tremors within the community and its environs

Mpape is a rocky place where construction companies blast stones daily to feed their sites with raw materials.

However, residents expressed shock over the incident and how relevant authorities hadn’t spoken up.

Some residents said this was not the first time such thing was happening in the community, calling on co-residents to remain calm.

Signature TV spoke with some residents and others who plied their trade in the affected areas

The communities called on government to find a lasting solution to the series of tremors in the suburbs.

The communities are hoping that the earth tremors will soon abate.
