Ekiti APC primary: My life is under threat- Adedipe cries out.
A headman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and leader of the Oodua People’s Congress New Era in Ekiti State, Niyi Adedipe, popularly known as ‘Apase’ has stated that some powerful authorities and desperate actors within the states are planning to kidnap him and probably end his life. To this, Adedipe has called on various security chiefs in the state asking to save him from danger and for protection ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for next week.
As claimed by Adedipe, the alleged planned attack was due to his support for one of the aspirer Engr. Kayode Ojo, who had all it takes to win the election as the preferred candidate, said that Kayode Ojo is an entrepreneur who has succeeded in the private sector and possesses the capacity to turn waste into wealth.
Mr Adedipe went further to say that he got his information from a reliable source that some leaders of the party with an entrenched interest in the election are planning to kidnap him, and the agents to be used have been instructed to do everything possible to ensure that I’m out of the game before Wednesday.
He said that the evil persons are planning a repeat of what they did in 2007, during the primaries of the party AC at that time. He was kidnapped, spent three nights and was released after the elections has been concluded he was kidnapped because he supported a candidate for the election but this time he fears that their plan might be more deadly.
