In a statement released by media adviser Muyiwa Adekeye, he stated that the revenue from the Federal Government, from mid-2020, till now, has left little money to spend on other things that are the concerns of government, like healthcare, schools, roads and others, therefore leaving the state government no choice but to reduce the size of the public service since the public service requires much fewer persons than it currently employs.
