“Election should not be do or die” – Igwe Sunday Orah

The Traditional Ruler of Adu Achi, in Oji River LGA, His Royal Highness, Igwe Sunday Orah, says for politics to be developmental, it should not be a do or die affair.
According to him when those participating in politics do it with the spirit of sportsmanship, the citizens win and democracy is strengthened
Igwe Orah was speaking while receiving in his Palace, the PDP Gubernatorial candidate for Enugu, Peter Mbah who was in Achi to condole with the family of Ebenezer Ikekpeazu, a PDP stalwart who passed away recently.
The Royal Father who described Mbah as a disciplined and independent minded leader, prayed for continued peace in Enugu State now and during the forthcoming election.
Mbah who was accompanied by his running mate Ifeanyi Ossai, the Enugu State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Manfred Nzekwe and other dignitaries, thanked Igwe Orah and other traditional rulers who were part of the reception for their hospitality.
At the Ikekpeazu family home, the PDP flag bearer while condoling with the family, expressed sadness over the death of their Father and Husband, saying that Ebenezer was not only his friend but a gentleman who attached a lot of importance to friendship and his relationship with others.
He encouraged the family to bear the irreparable loss with faith in God and prayed for the repose of the soul of the ddeparted.
Peter Mbah and his entourage concluded their visit to Achi with a stop over at the country residence of the Enugu State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon. Manfred Nzekwe.
