EMIR OF JIWA IS 2022 ANTI CORRUPTION PILLAR

As Corruption Tori joined the rest of the world to mark the 2022 United Nations Day on anti-corruption, the Sarkin Jiwa of FCT, His Royal Highness Idris Musa (MFR), has bagged the corruption tori 2022 anti-corruption pillar award, for his stand against corruption and encouragement of honest living.

His Royal Highness Idris Musa (MFR), the Sarkin Jiwa of FCT, Abuja who was the guest of honour at a town hall, to mark the world anti-corruption day commended Corruption Tori for its grassroots sensitization in local languages, adding that for Nigeria to fight corruption successfully, all hands must be on deck.

A delegation from Signature TV, producers of Corruption Tori had paid a courtesy visit to the emir’s palace to inform him about the event of honoring the grassroots people in the fight against corruption.

The emir praised Signature TV for encouraging and enlightening the grassroots people to shun corruption and also designing an award that will create more impact than those being conferred on the elite.

At the town hall organized by Corruption Tori Ordinary Nigerian Anti-Corruption Awards were conferred on three Nigerians drawn from across the 36 states of the federation, nominated by ordinary Nigerians who have done extraordinary acts of exceptional integrity.

The Corruption Tori, Anti-Corruption Town hall had in attendance, anti-corruption agencies, students, government officials, traditional leaders, community representatives, Market Associations, Gbagi indigenous associations, Okada riders, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), and members of the press.
